Schaefer roller furling, roller reefing units are precision CNC made in the US. Schaefer uses high impact torlon bearings that can not corrode and ride in open, easily accessible races that require only occasional fresh water lubrication through their easy access flushing hole. The heavy duty base toggle/link articulates to absorb side loads that might otherwise cause turnbuckle fatigue. The large powerful drum provides you with the mechanical advantage you need for high sailing loads.
